DONATIONS TO A HEALTH FUND
All grants (except sick leave allowance) are applied for electronically through my pages on the website of the STF (Association of Directors).
Applications and all necessary documents must be received by the 20th of each month in order to be paid that month.
Grants are paid out on the last working day of each month. It is important that applications are accompanied by certified payment receipts.

Examination fee Heart protection:
Inspection at Hjartavernd or a similar entity 75% of the bill (Hjartavernd's preliminary inspection fee every 4 years) Maximum ISK 25,000.
exchange rate:
Paid 75% of costs, maximum ISK 32,000. over a period of 24 months.
Health checks:
75% of the cost of a health check-up is paid every 4 years, maximum ISK 36,000. (cf. Article 17)
Glasses/lenses:
75% of the cost, maximum ISK 70,000. every 3 years.
Laser eye surgery:
Subsidy for laser eye surgery / cataract replacement 75% of the cost, maximum ISK 200,000. every 4 years.
Hearing aids:
75% of the cost up to ISK 125,000. in each ear every 4 years.
Health and fitness grants:
35,000 ISK in each 12-month period, up to a maximum of 75% of the bill.
Educational Scholarship:
200,000 ISK per year of work-related studies, ISK 10,000. for leisure studies in a 12-month period, but never higher than 80% of the bill.
Birth allowance:
The administrator receives ISK 170,000. for birth allowance, a child's birth certificate must be submitted.
Adoption:
Part of the cost of adoption is paid up to a maximum of ISK 170,000. for each child under the age of five in permanent foster care.
IVF and IVF:
75% of costs up to ISK 150,000. up to 4 times every 2 years.
Physiotherapy:
Paid 75% of costs, maximum ISK 80,000. during a 12-month period.
Chiropractor, medical massage:
With a licensed person, treatment by a chiropractor or medical massage, paid the same ISK amount and in the same way as for physical therapy
Physiotherapy HL station:
Paid 75% of the cost for each time, maximum ISK. 80,000 over a period of 12 months
Sickness allowance
Up to 80% of the average salary of the last 12 months. Compensation period up to 9 months.

Psychologist/social counsellor:
75% of the cost is paid for each visit, maximum ISK 80,000. during a 12-month period.
Legal Services:
STF members have the option of getting advice from a lawyer. Appointments must be made with STF at 553-5040.
Death benefit:
In the event of the death of a working member, a death benefit of ISK 720,000 is paid to the estate or surviving spouse, provided that the person has been a fund member for at least 6 months at the time of death.
Pay children or guardians of members' children, for each child under the age of 18 ISK 260,000. Bridge pays in addition to what STF pays ISK. 150,000 ISK
If a member is on sick leave when he dies, the same death benefit is paid as for a full-time member.
Hveragerði NLFÍ etc.:
Due to the rehabilitation of members at work. Once in every 12-month period at a domestic health facility, recognized by the Swedish Insurance Agency, 75% of the costs, maximum ISK 150,000.
